Sidhu Moose Wala was a well-known Indian rapper, singer, songwriter, and model who was born in 1993. After his song “So High” was published in 2017, he became well-known. Sidhu Moose Wala predominantly produced music and films in the Punjabi language. One of his earliest accomplishments was penning the lyrics for the 2016 song “Licence,” performed by the Punjabi artist Ninja. Sidhu Moose Wala launched his solo singing debut in 2017 with the duet “G Waggon.” He kept working with the Punjabi band Brown Boyz to produce music, and he also put out a number of tracks through Humble Music.
Sadly, on May 29, 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala was fatally shot in the Punjabi village of Jawaharke, which is part of the Mansa district. The attackers’ identities are still unknown.

Sidhu On June 11, 1993, Moose Wala was born in the Punjabi village of Moosa in the Mansa district of India. He chose to adopt his village name as his surname, similar to Diljit Singh Dosanjh, who also goes by his village name Dosanjh. Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu is the singer’s real name.
His mother was Charan Kaur, and Sidhu Moose Wala’s father was a Sikh by the name of Bhola Singh. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering after completing his studies at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana. He didn’t, though, pursue a career in that area.
Sidhu Moose Wala’s Early Life
Sidhu Moose Wala was born and raised in Mansa, Punjab, and graduated in 2011 from S. Chetan Singh Sarvhitkari Senior Sec. Vidya Mandir. Later, he enrolled at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana, where he studied Electrical Engineering and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2016. He made the decision to continue his schooling in Canada after completing his courses.
Sidhu had a passion for singing from a young age. He frequently sang traditional songs, beginning in the fifth grade. He actively participated in a number of singing contests in college. However, he didn’t decide to pursue a singing career until he immigrated to Canada.

In 2016, Sidhu Moose Wala launched his musical career as a songwriter. He authored the lyrics of the Punjabi singer Ninja’s song “Licence,” which went on to achieve great fame. Later, he worked with musicians such as Deep Jandu, Elly Mangat, and Karan Aujla. Sidhu Moose made his singing debut in 2017 with the Punjabi song “G Waggon.” He also wrote the smash gangster rap song “So High,” which became another well-known song. He was honored with the Best Lyricist prize for “So High” at the 2017 Brit Asia TV Music Awards. Other of his hit tracks include “Issa Jatt,” “Tochan,” “Selfmade,” “Famous,” and “Warning Shots.”
Death of Sidhu Moose Wala
Moose Wala, a 28-year-old singer from Punjab, India, was shot and killed on May 29, 2022, while he was traveling close to his village.
