How should  Create an programme for the Home Access Center (HAC)

You must: in order to create a HAC account.

1. Be listed as the student’s guardian with the school. (Each student’s guardian is permitted to have a separate HAC account.)

2. Make sure ones child’s school has its most recent email address on it. The system won’t be able to sent us a link to create the account’s password if one don’t have an email address available or if the address is entered wrongly.

Do speak with the school registrar to make the important changes before continuing to register a HAC account if you need to be designated as a parent, modify or update the email address, or change the language of correspondence.

How to create a HAC Account?

You can create a HAC account by:

1. To enable the Login Page as displayed below, click the HAC icon on the district website.

2. Click on the  link to register if you haven’t already signed up your username and password.

Afterward, click the Register point after entering your First Name, Last Name, City, and Zip Code. The parent information on your student’s enrollment application should match the information provided here.

You will be diverted to input your email address if more than one child or contact has the same data as what you entered. Once you’ve entered your email id, click the Register button.

HAC Registration Process

The Home Access Center User Registration page appears if the system discovers a match.

  • Enter a username, followed by the two challenge questions and answers you want to use in case you lose your login details.
  • Press the Finish button.
  • The system will automatically send an email with a link to generate a password to the email address the district has on file for you if the username is not already in use.
  • A confirmation page confirming that your temporary password will be issued via email to the email address on file with the school shows after this step is finished.
  • If you don’t get this email, make sure the email address listed on your student’s contacts page is accurate by getting in touch with the registration office.
  • Click the email’s link.
  • Give the right response to your challenge question, then press the Continue button.
  • Put in and verify your password.
  • Case matters when using a password.
  • Select “Continue” from the menu.

You will be logged in automatically to the Home Access Center where you can see your student’s schedule, attendance record, and completed assignments. There is a link in the menu that leads to the HAC user manual.

How to Use the HAC (Home Access Center)

The sidebar menu is there on the left side of each interface. Each link will take you to the corresponding page when it will be clicked.

NOTE: Not all of the alternates will be available if you only have one ch or only elementary-aged kid.

  • Daily Report                
  • The first link in the main menu is the Daily Summary.
  • For pupils in primary school, select the Daily Summary to see:
  • Attendance for Today: Only if your student has been tardy or absent will data be displayed. Otherwise, no information will be shown here.
  • This Week’s Class Assignments: This shows the classwork that your student’s teachers have assigned for the current week. Only if your student’s teacher publishes the classwork will it appear here.

NOTE: By selecting the Classwork link from the main menu, you can examine the class materials from prior weeks as well as the results of all of your assignments, quizzes, and examinations.

Schedule

Students in secondary school only have access to this link. To access the most recent schedule for your student, click the Schedule option in the sidebar menu.

Attendance

To obtain a list of the absences and tardies noted for your kid, click the Attendance option in the sidebar menu. NOTE: Nothing will appear if your kid is NOT LATE and is NOT ABSENT from class.

Observational Highlights

Each absence is indicated with a different hue. This will make it easier for you to quickly identify the kinds of absences and/or tardies that have been noted for your student. Days that are highlighted in gray are not days for which tardies or attendance are tracked. On these days, classes are not in session.

  1. Click on “” or “>>” to move to a month that was previously or recently.
  2. Please get in touch with the campus attendance specialist for your kid if you have any questions about attendance entries.

Classwork

To examine your student’s classwork and grades, click the Classwork option in the sidebar menu. You can view each class for which the teacher has recorded assignments and grades and released these for viewing by scrolling down the page.

Classroom “Filter”

The classwork screen also features a filter that lets you choose which report card run to view, which class to view by, which due date to view by, and whether to view all courses. Important: After choosing the filter views, clickon “Refresh View” to watch your selection.

  1. One  can conceal or reveal the assessments and grades for a course by clicking the “Hide” or “Show” button on every course or the “Hide All” or “Show All” button on the top right.
  2. The same alternates used to access the other methods can also be used to access HAC Humble, which is a very user-friendly site.
